MASTERCLASS: THE BEAUTY OF REFASHIONING
Janet Dunn

Janet Dunn
MASTERCLASS
In 2001 Janet started developing a fashion label using recycled clothing and materials. She named her label ReDunn Fashion. In this masterclass, Janet will show the development, in theory and in practice, of a design process for upcycled fashion.  Janet’s masters thesis collection “Survivalist Fantasy”,  imagined an apocalyptic event that necessitated a more self-sufficient approach to dressing. She will show through images and actual clothing, the vast potential for using the materials we have already around us, and will discuss where she see this niche sits in the bigger picture of sustainability.
